about age
 
I thought for a long time it was 7 years for the dog's but when I went to look to see if that was still the thing. but I got 3 different things one was like 5 years and other one I wasn't to sure. the very last one said she is 28. so I don't know what age she is in dog years 7 years in dog years then she would be 21 or what is it this days. but I don't want her older then she should be either. I want her to live a very long and very happy live. so if anyone know what it is pls let me know something. and thanks for taking the time to read my post too.

The saying is 1 human year=7 dog years but this isn't really based on science or fact because larger dogs grow and age faster then smaller dogs so technically it would be different for small, medium, and large dogs.

Yeah that's what r thought it was too. Bit its still would be nice to know what it would be for her.

People do not all have the same life expectancy and neither do dogs. Rather than dwelling on some arbitrary mathematical schedule, I prefer to devote my energy to giving my babies long, health and happy lives.

some years back I read it was changed from 7 years per one human year to 5 years per one human year,. Because of veterinarian technology dogs now living longer and healthier lives keeping them younger. That was 20 + years ago I read that, in the last 20 years canine care has grown in leaps and bounds.

7 years / 5 years, matters not, proper diet, exercise, vaccines when needed and taking pup to vet when they are not acting normal, like pup has diarrhea for 3 days, not eating, drinking,get to vet ASAP not wait 3 days, is the key factor to keeping your baby fit & healthy. My last girl was a big girl, 17 lbs, if she did not eat for 24 hours, off to the vet we went, if she had diarrhea for 12 hours, off to the vet we went, she was with me for 17 years.

that's is one of the things that I read too. so that would make her 15 then. but who know what is right this days.

Just wanted to know what things change to. since I have seen 2 dogs what 12 years old but 2 different human age. so I just wanted to know what it would be for yorkie terrier's that's all.

I just wanted to know what her age would have been in human years. and to see what thing have change to this days. and 2 I did see where it said age of 2 different but both of them was 12 years old but did have different age in human years. so u can see why I wanted to check things out

Honestly is dosent really mean anything dogs age so much differently then humans and 1 year to us dosen't nessisarily mean 5 or 7 or whatever years to them but if it makes you happy carry on.

yeah that is so true. but sometime it would be nice to know that all. but to me she is a 3 year old and that all that matter to us right now any way.
