Do you think my Yorkie has anything else mixed in? 3 Attachment(s) Hello all, I have a wonderful 1 year old pup named Frankie. He is a white Yorkshire Terrier. We've noticed he is larger than the average yorkie at 8.5lbs and has especially long legs/neck/body compared to the average Yorkie. Does anyone think there is another breed slightly mixed in? And if so, which breed do you think? Some have said he looks like a Morkie, others have said he looks like a Parti or Biewer. Just curious. Love him no matter what. Thank you! |
I'm no expert at all, so I can't say, but he is adorable! |
He looks like he has his tail so I would say hes a biewer. Partis tails are docked |
I vote Morkie, Maltese have bigger, eyes bigger/longer ears and they don't dock the tails, because Maltese's tails curl over their back. This is why many people think the parti and biewers started with a maltese in the background. It's a darling dog no matter what. Welcome to Yorkietalk! |
I vote Morkie as well... |
Frankie is 100% ....... adorable! Like others I can see a possible mix like Morkie, or Parti, but whatever it is he sure is cute. |
He's a little cutie, I don't see any yorkie, Biewer or Parti. could be Morkie, but I am not an expert on Morkie's. It would be nice to know what you have there, but love him for the pup he is, that's all that really matters, he's a lil cutie. |
He sure is adorable - I have some ideas like the others - that he may be a mix, but so stinkin' cute! |
Thanks so much everyone! Frankie appreciates the love :) I could absolutely see any one of the above options. Thank you all for your input! Glad to be on the site |
I can't put my finger on it, but my closest guess would be a Maltese. In your second picture of him, try imagining him all white, and he looks like a Maltese. So +1 vote for a morkie. |
He is very cute. Welcome to Yt! |
I see something that is not Yorkie, mostly coloring, but only after I see incredibly cute dog!! |
He's too cute to care!!!! |
