Added another furry little firend to the family!! Yesterday I got home and was suprised to a loving 3 year old yorkie in my house. As if my house isn't crazy enough I now have two loving yorkies. The Yorkie my dad brought home yesterday name is Juicy. You can tell she was abused as a puppy. When you pick her up you can feel her ribs.. Hasn't been groomed in God knows how long and when my mom was feeding my other Yorkie named Cocco, Juicy ran and inhaled the food. Juicy had a little accident last night in the house (which we knew was going to happen)..We could not find after that accidnet 15 min later this little stuff ball hidding behind the couch shaking an afriad... My Mom made an appt to the vet an shes getting groomed today! any other tips I should know? |
Aww, CONGRATS!! Where did she come from, a rescue or a shelter? My only advice is I would personally wait on the groomer until she became more settled and feels safe/secure. |
She is very lucky to have found your house. |
Hi welcome to Yorkietalk and congrats on getting your new pup. We would love to see pictures of your yorkies. I agree with Ann (Wylie's Mom) that you should wait for her to get settled in and be more comfortable at your home before taking her to the groomers. |
Welcome to YT! Congrats on your new addition :) I also agree on postponing the groomer as that can be a very scary situation for her to be in right now. I'd wait till she becomes comfortable around your family and her new surroundings. If it's an absolute must that you cannot wait, I suggest looking into a private groomer that can spend one on one time with her. |
Welcome and Congrats on the new addition! |
Congrats. sounds like little Juicy won the puppy lottery by landing with you! |
Congrats ! |
