A bunch of firsts for my Sumo Yorkie
 
So I decided to take Toby out with me today, so I put his harness on and he spent the next ten minutes turning in fast circles and yipping at it trying to get a hold of it. Lol. He looked absolutely horrified when I put the leash on him. But I just walked him around my house for about ten more minutes before we got in the car. He managed not to puke in the car even! Yay! And so we get to Petsmart and right off the bat there's two big dogs that felt the need to bark at him and he pee'd a little out of fear but then he trotted off like a professional with me. Then we went to my boyfriends shop where he got to run around and get nice and filthy to his hearts desire. He was actually very calm considering how he is at home. And then another ride home without puking . He also got his first collar and I think he thinks the tags are the enemy cause every time they click he yips and turns a circle. It's funny. Now he is passed out and comatose from all the excitement . Guess the last owners never thought of him beyond their front door. He actually adapted to it all pretty quickly. He's a smart kid.

If he does he have all of his shots? If not you really shouldn't take him to pet stores and places other dogs go because he could pick up parvo or something just as bad and get really sick.

Yeah he's had his shots. I make sure of that. Heck, even with the shots I still refuse to take any of my dogs to a dog park because of that fact.

Petsmart is just as bad if you talking germs. Mine loves going to both.

Glad he had a good time. It's wonderful when they can go out and enjoy themselves. :)
