Bella survived being boarded for 2 days. Yay! Walter and I drove down to Memphis for a couple of days to visit Walter's family, and we had Bella (our 18 month old Yorkie) boarded at the vet for two nights. This being Bella's first boarding experience, we were concerned that she would freak out or lose her potty training, but she handled it like a pro. We paid extra to have her kept in a private room away from other dogs, and we paid for extra 15 minute one on one play sessions with vet students. We called the vet's office from Memphis and I asked to speak to one of Bella's handlers, and she said that she was a "Yorkie whisperer" and that Bella was doing great! When we got back, Bella was very happy to see us, and she went right about her business as usual, no damage done :) |
Way to go Bella! |
Bella is a lil trouper, glad all turned out well. |
Wonderful! I know it can be so hard to leave them, so I'm glad it went so well for you and her. :) |
Yeah Bella. Glad she did OK and you got away for a few days. |
I think Bella did fine, you survived!! That is how I feel when I leave my two little guys (and I leave them with my son). I am so stressed, but my guys do just fine. |
I'm so glad Bella made it through without any trauma and good for you for giving her a few extras so that the experience might be pleasant. |
