Oh now I get it. We have a similar little sticky seed thing we call "hitch hikers" and I spent a several hours combing them out of Meika's hair at my daughter's house one day.

Barney had his last romp in the weeds! Yorkies are unpredictable. Ya let em out off leash and who knows if they will take off. I am so thankful you found hin! I think Yorkies are smart enough to get back home where the love and food is. He is so cute, short fur or long. Just wanted to explore the outside world!

Wow Barney went on an adventure! So glad he's back home safe & sound. He looks adorable in his new hair cut!

I was so wanting Barney to have a beautiful coat like your boys, but I guess that won't be happening.

Also, I leave his feathers longer under his belly. It shortens his legs. So glad you got him back and he was safe. He looks cute, it will look perfect before you know it.

Barney's military cut is growing back nicely

He hates wearing a top knot but it's the only way I can see his pretty face. His hair is growing back nicely after his backyard escape. So for any of you wondering how long it takes the coat to grow, this is 6 months after his shave down and I think we are almost half way to a nice coat again. Apparently, it takes about a year.

Scary times but Barney looks like he enjoyed every minute of his time in the wild!!! He looks winsome and adorable in his "new do" - I love it. You cannot mess up a Yorkie - they look so cute in any cut or even shaved. I think they look especially endearing cut back though.

Yes, I'm sure he enjoyed his adventure, but me, not so much. Thank goodness it ended so happily for us as I realize that often it doesn't come out this way. I will probably not let his hair get much longer because it really is easy to care for right now.
