Congratulations! |
Oh I am so very happy for you. I love adopting the senior babies. They have so much love to give. can't wait see a picture of your baby. |
Checking in to see how it's going with the new baby?? I hope all is well. |
Everything is amazing. He is such a sweet boy. Ive been really impressed because he is a big snuggler with Grady AND I. Just sad bc it seems that he can't bark. The foster said she had him since June and he never barked.... I've seen him try and only a tiny squeak may come out. He goes to the vet Tuesday just to establish care. Any hints on how to post a pic from my iPhone? I can't wait to show him off. |

As for posting pictures, I have no idea on how to do that from iPhone. I hope someone can tell you how. |
So happy you rescued a lil senior baby, hope he is settled in by now, several home changes do confuse them. My adopted boy was taken from him family, spent 3 days at my vets in a cage, then came home with me. He watched my every move, stuck to me like glue, I guess he was scared he would be taken away again. He adapted to his new home quickly. Within an hour of being with me he claimed my bed as his lol, nothing shy about this lil boy lol. He was surrendered at 2 1/2 y/o, he has just turned 3 y/o, I have him 9 months. I think he knows this is his furever home. He is so special to me, such a blessing, my first boy and I love him more then words can say. I even changed his name when I got him, with-in a few days he knew his name. One day a few weeks after I had him I was on the phone telling a friend how he answered to his new name, by accident I used his old name in talking to my friend, he whipped his head around when he heard that name,my heart broke, poor lil boy must have thought his other family was back for him. That name is never spoken. He will never forget his first family. Your lil boy will adjust and adapt to his new family, and love and trust you. I know you are showering him with a lot of love and attention, and that is just what he needs. He is a lucky lil boy that you came into his life to give him a second chance at a happy, loving home..... I down load my smart phone pictures to my computer, then post photos from my computer, that is the best info I can offer you.... |

Congratulations on your new boy!!! My little girl never barked, she just had a quiet gentle nature, maybe Henry is the same. Best wishes on your new baby:love: |
Congratulations on your new baby! Seniors make great pets. I adopted and 11 year old Dachshund and had her for 4 wonderful years. Enjoy your new baby. :) |
Congratulations!! He is a very lucky boy to be in your loving care. I am very happy to hear that he is settling in and snuggling. Looking forward to photos. This might help with posting pictures from an iPhone: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pho...e-pics-yt.html |

This is so great! I love when people give older dogs a chance. Seniors tend to get looked over a lot but are often great dogs with lots of love to give and years to live. Thanks for adopting! |
Congratulations on your new dog. Our old guy has given us lots of joy this last year and a half that we've had him. Super rare to hear him bark. Ours was petrified of water when we got him, today, while off leash and walking nearby trails, he walked into a stream and laid down, first time he looked absolutely comfortable in water. |
I am so happy for you both ! It is wonderful you opened you heart for a older pup. . .hugs |
