Was just about to give up for today, when I found this from a UK supplier; Solvit Medium Tagalong Booster Seat from Easy Animal At just on $50 delivered:), I was delighted. I got the medium as at 7½lbs and 11" from shoulders to start of her tail, she's quite small really and they recommend a size up to allow the dog to stretch out a bit. I've also got a seat belt attachable harness lead, which she wears at the moment anyway. I'll post a pic when the :newarrow:car and seat arrive and "Her Majesty" :queen3:trials them both... |
That's the one! Can't wait to hear if it does the trick for you! |
I have TWO (2) car seats, one in each vehicle. They are made by Fido Rido, right here in the USA. I placed a couple of cushions under each one to get the top of the seat even with the top of the door, so Graysee has a full, unobstructed view from the window. These seats are padded, have adjustable straps for a harness, have a padded edge for when she stands up to stick her head out the window, and have been tested to the same standards as child car seats. Graysee LOVES her seat! She did fine with her trip to and from AZ in 2011; she slept most of the time, but did some sightseeing, as well. I am very happy with the Fido Rido, and would recommend it to anyone. I had previously had a couple of the other brands, and she didn't do too well in those. |
