piddlepads? which ones and how many? i'm using jumpstart right now....how difficult is the transition from the jumpstart to the washable piddlepads? Plus--which sizes and type....regular, plush etc.... |
We switched really easily to them. The girls had no problem at with them. We got the 12 of the bigger plaid ones, they are a little bigger than the normal ones so they last a little longer and they hold up really well!! We have had them for almost 9 months and they are still like new. |
Pixie seemed to prefer the washable cloth pads over the disposables. (I swear the cloth ones sped up the training process). I bought some kind of spray at the pet store that you can put on the pads to give them a smell (I guess so they know it's okay to potty there). I don't know if it made a difference or not. I stopped using it after a few days because it smelled horrible. Just try putting the new pad down where the old one was, I doubt it'll take very long before your pup figures it out. |
I am also using ther jump start, which worked great, but Cali is completely trained on them and I wanted to switch to cheaper ones, but I have been afraid to in case she doesn't use them. I think I will try now. |
I found some throw rugs on clearance at wal-mart for $2 ea and bought a bunch, they are about 2' x 3' and the pups like them just fine. They had started shreading the puppy pads and liners and were having far too much fun at my expense (time). They like them just fine and I throw them in the washer and hang dry. |
