Carseat
 
Do you guys think all small dogs should have a carseat?...im debating on getting one but bentley is great in the car he pretty much goes to sleep lol.

Maybe you could just get a booster seat.

I don't think it's necessary as long as he's restrained in some way.

That can be dangerous if your ever in an accident and in some states the law says they have to be.

Restraining is an absolute must,even stopping short can throw him off the seat onto the floor, I have had this happen years ago. After that happened I would tie their leash to the seat belts, thank goodness they invented restraining belts. I suggest a booster seat, all dogs like to look out of the window, these lil babies are to small and these newer cars have such high windows. You'll be amazed how much he would enjoy seeing out of the window.

I have been thinking about getting Lexi a booster seat since she just recently discovered the window and wants to look out, but has a really hard time being to small. Do you know if there are booster seats big enough for 2 dogs since we will be adding a friend in a little over a month?

YT has members with 2 dogs that share booster seat, I am sure they will be along shortly to offer their suggestions and experience.

Snoozer is a wonderful dog seat. They also make for two dogs ! I am almost positive that Kristin (Maximo) has it for her boys. I have one for Galen. And when I get my second pup, I will get the bigger snoozer for the two of them

I have a Snoozer Luxury Lookout II in medium for Katie. I would have been fine with a small, but in case we added another little one, we got the medium. The regular Snoozer is also excellent.

I got a car seat on ebay...it's similar to a snoozer/lookout seat; got it for about $24.

We have a cheap car seat and a snoozer. I really like the snoozer much better. I do think you need a car seat. I am hearing that if you gave an accident and your dog isn't restrained, the companies are refusing to pay. Don't know if it's true or not but I have heard that.
