Elevated dog bowl stand for small yorkies?
 
Anyone know where I can find an elevated dog bowl stand with small bowls? All the stands I have been finding have large bowls or the stand is too high. I want something preferably cute too, lol :)

Pet smart has all sizes..I've even seen a few in Walmart

Just a word of caution....check to see where the bowls are made before you buy them. All the raised bowls I have found so far are made in China. I wouldn't eat out of them for that reason and I chose to not let my dogs either.

I looked in Pet Smart & Pet Supplies, all size small elevated bowl standswere to low and the Med. size was to high for Cody, and he is a 12 lb baby, but I am still looking, I haven't been to a Pet Co, the closest one to me is over an hours drive, but I will get to it lol . Good luck in finding the right size for your baby.

Sophie Kates came from the cat sectin at Petco, the bowls have little pictures of mice. It is cute but clearly for cats.

The vet just advised my daughter to get raised dishes for her cats so I am assuming they must exist. I never thought of cats being too tall to eat out of a dish on the floor but I guess it is better for the digestion not to eat with their heads down. The same being true for small dogs.

I looked on amazon . com and they have several styles of small raised dishes.

One of my cats lost a front tooth, a lower canine(?), and he has trouble getting the food to stay in his mouth, and started to lose weight! He's doing so much better with an elevated bowl! (Vet also recommended this for him)

I had the same issue with my late Avery cat RIP, he lost some teeth during dental and had a hard time getting the food in his mouth was losing weight for months until it hit us (the Vet and I)that he was not getting enough food from his old on the floor bowls.

Is the coating on these bowls ok?

I saw this in the store and the x-small is a perfect size. The stainless steel bowl is coated, though.

It's tiny and cute. I have free 2 day ship so it's easier than ordering from pet smart. One thing I don't like about pet smart is ordering online from them. I did it one time and all my things came broken and chipped! I like petco better for ordering.

The amazon one says 3.5" , I'm assuming pet smart might've made a mistake with dimensions but I'm not sure. In person it looked pretty short to me. I'll let you guys know how it turns out when I get it :)

I have elevated bowls I made myself. I bought 2 Corelle saucers and super glued them back-to-back. They are just the right height and size. I am looking for some kind of paint I can use to decorate the bases.
