Kimchi's Home :D 3 Attachment(s) She's been really quiet for the most part, sleeping most of the time on the way home. She loves her new pastel blue crate with cushion :D And loves her new toy. They gave me a little of her old food and a sock that has her mom/sibling scents and I got them to rub the new toy I got her on her mom good and she's been chewing and snuggling with it. She suckled on me on and off :D She's more gorgeous than I originally expected and the breeder fellows has been lovely. Even though they're giving me full registration I plan on spaying her when she's ready and after vaccinations. I'm hearing it should be done before heat and then I hear at least after the first heat, but gonna discuss this with my vet once I get her first visit set up. There's some more pics in my album here showing more of her trip home. ^^ |

Thanks, what' really crazy is that when I looked at her info sheet the breeder gave, she had the same birthday as me :D Considering the situation leading to my getting her, it's like fate XD |

her/my b-day 5/28 :) She really loves her crate and cushion. I don't think I'll have problems of her going into her crate cause she just go in and to the back area herself. Had the crate with me in my room and a doggie litter box with pad set up in front of her crate door. Made a makeshift enclosed area of her box/pad. She's actually been good about going on it without training. Granted a couple of mistakes, of course. kept sleeping most of the trip and most of last night until in the later part of the night when she just wanted to play with the pad and have me hold her a few times. I think I should've held off giving her nutri-cal at night ^^;; since it's got a type of sugar, I think I just wound up making her a little hyper then, lol But she's a lot more peppy this morning. Just gave her her breakfast and she's a bit tuckered out from it. Her playpen should be in today before I get home from work. so it'll make it easier to keep her controlled with both pen and crate. |

Thanks everyone ^^ She is adjusting beautifully! She's staying up a little more at a time and has her little quirks here and there, of course. Gonna take her to the vet in a little bit for her first vaccines and stuff. Her playpen came in yesterday and we moved her into it as her den from her crate since it's more roomier and she's been adjusting well. Her puppy breath is somewhat stinky x.x but her baby teeth are now just coming in. Although she's had a bath from the breeder, I'm going to have to give her another soon cause she's gotten into the habit of wallowing on her pee pad after she pees and dragging it to bed with her X_x;; |
Congrats! She's just to stinkin cute! What kind of pee pads are you using? Hannah loved to tear up her disposables so I purchased a few washable ones and that stopped that. Enjoy! |
She uses a PetPride ones, figured if it's gonna be disposable may as well be cheaper. |
Have you tried using one of those pee pad holders? Magnus used to tear those up too but stopped after I started using the holder. Then eventually, he grew out of tearing it up all together. |
Back from the vet and she wasn't a happy camper ^^;; but at least the Benedryl they gave her to prevent a reaction would conk her out for a bit. Magnus: I do have a "litter" box that does have a plastic mesh, at first used the plastic mesh part as a screen to keep her enclosed in an area at first, may try to used it as it should if it gets bad :p |
Cutie Kimchi! I don't know if this was mentioned, but doing the spay when they're about 7-8 months old is best so they can also get any retained baby teeth pulled @ the same time they're under...that way, they don't need to go under again. Some people wait til they're a year old. |
