My Pippi is so far from standard and she is PERFECT. We are always oohing and awwing over her. I bet you do over Sophie too.

She is very cute. Screw other people. She sounds like a rude and nasty person who is just a jerk. Although I know my girl is not show quality I probably would have gone nuts on her. I might have said nope she's prettier then a show dog or something.

Sophie is adorable. It is sure a bummer when some know-it-all self proclaimed expert has to offer opinions when they are not asked for. Some people need to just shut up unless they are asked for their opinion.

Your little Sophie is absolutely ADORABLE :thumbup: !!! She looks like such a cute little sweetheart :D There is no accounting for rude ignorant people.

Yes I do ooh and aw!!!! I even sing to her that she is the prettiest girl in the whole wide world. I also sing How much is that doggy in the window the one with the short stubby tail... Lol! I love her short tail it is so cute when she is wagging it. Can"t you tell I am a proud momma? :D

I have been enjoying looking at all the pictures of everyone's adorable Yorkie's that have replied to my post. They all have such happy little faces. We are all so lucky and so are our babies because it is obvious we all love them and they love us right back. :aimeeyork

Your Sophie is quite adorable... love her expressive eyes and everything about her.


The sad thing is it will be very hard to get her comment out of your head, no matter how many great opinions you hear from us. Just know her comment to you had nothing to do with your pup, it was meant to hurt your feelings and bring you down.

I think your Sophie is just adorable. Cute, cute little face! I love the 'teen' look at this age - still a puppy look but on those long pretty legs!

I had a Boston Terrier that developed Cushings at 8 yrs old. She was a short, stocky BT to begin with but the Cushings caused a pot belly. I can't tell you how many people would laugh and call her a pig. It was crushing and we eventually just avoided getting her around people. It's just amazing what comes out of some peoples mouths.

The important thing to remember is that people who make hurtful comments are usually insecure and seemingly look for ways to bring you down to make themselves look more important. Again I say, Sophie is one very pretty little girl :star2: and YTers know yorkies!!!!

Sophie is a beautiful girl, and it doesn't matter if she has show quality colors, or any other quality. She is your little(don't tell her I said little) girl, and the hell with rude people, as everyone else has said, they are poison and need to bring some one down to lower than their level. Just enjoy Sophie and enjoy the fact that she thinks the world of you, that's all that matters.

Sophie is a lovely Yorkie. I think the RV lady's comments reveal an inferiority complex that imparts subsidiarity as a defence/release syndrome. Probably a highly insecure woman, who sensed the closeness you two had and needed to deflect her subconscious insularity and envy, by denigrating your Sophie.

My mother who was a wonderfully, elegant and attractively eccentric lady, aged 92, in a deep moment of reflection, once told a friend;

'Oooh my Albert's been gone 27 years now, and I do miss the car!

Pyscologically she was trying to cover her keen loss of my father, by attempting to conceal it's latter day relevance, without realizing how comical it sounded. It's a related similarity of condition.

She truly loved him every day they were parted, as I do both of them.

I once had a"lady" tell me she didn't like my little (4 pound) foster yorkie.He was too big and his nosr was big. I just said "so is yours bitch " and moved on. Not my finest hour and insulting to dogs but nobody insults our babies. Your baby is beautiful.
