Am I in love. 1 Attachment(s) Am I in love? For those who don't know, I was going to have a new baby girl but she didn't fully developed her lungs and passed away. Two weeks later, last Monday, I had the venture of crossing with Luna, a one year three months beautiful girl. I was in doubt of bringing home an older baby, but she seemed so well behaved and I brought her home without DH knowing. It seems like Luna have been with us forever! They love each other. Cayo was a very happy puppy, but now he has a partner in crime, though Luna is an angel, (up to now...we'll see later). I feel like a little girl playing with dolls! Cayo has gained weight because he eats what she leaves. I started taking out of the playpen the dishes as soon as I see he ate his and she stopped eating. It seems she was accustomed to eat once a day. Cayo freefed. Let's see if we can meet at a happy medium. She is doing fine. I noticed she has two pairs of fangs. With them, some tartar of course. They will probably come out as soon as she gets spayed. Today I tried the Yorkie Sheen samples I received and they are good but not as Chris Christensen. I will keep trying them to see in the long term. Aren't they gorgeous? |
Awww me too! I love that your story had a happy ending....or middle. |
great picture |
Awwww how sweet! Yes they are gorgeous! |
Beautiful picture. They look sooooo happy:2smileys:. It was meant to be that Luna came into your life and Cayo's. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Pattee, mama to JAX:animal37 Johcee:cat: Lucee:cat: and "KLOEE":rbyorkie:RIP |
They are so cute together.... what a perfect pair. I too think it was meant to be. You must be having a blast with them. Congratulations. |
I agree that it was meant to be. They look so cute and happy together. |
I am so glad she came in your life. . It was meant to be. They looks adorable together. Congrats ! |
They are beautiful, they look like they have been together forever, such cute happy lil faces. I have to agree with the above, Luna was meant for you and Cayo. As applejax wrote "everything happens for a reason" This I believe. what was DH reaction when you came home with lil Luna. |
Luna was certainly wating for us to meet and bring her home. Though a bit shy, she promptly behaved as she had always been here. No signs of aggresive behavior, nor bad habits. Completely house broken. She barely barks! She cries a little when she needs to go specially at 6 am while Cayo barks to get out of the playpen. They play so much running through the house! One thing I noticed is that she doesn't play with the toys. Cayo has bunch of them and plays with all at the same time. He takes them out from where I store them one by one and starts playing with them. Luna doesn't know how to play! I've tried to teach her and do as with Cayo, but it looks like she would like to, approaches, smells and kinda seems like she will hold the toy, but then goes back to where she was. She is a sweety! Also I had to put them appart while eating. Cayo eats whatever she leaves and I could say he has earn almost a pound since she arrived. We furbabies parents never get bored! |
aww congrats!! she is beautiful and what a great pic of them. she may pick up toy playing the more she watches Cayo.....Lola has never played with toys per say...but sometimes she will pick one up and fling it.....she watches keylo and cedric go nuts with the toys but after three years I am still waiting for her to really play with a toy. So glad things are working out fab congrats. |
They sure are cute together. It's funny how some dogs like toys and others do not. My Tiki loves any toy that squeaks, but Kayla and Karlee have no interest in toys at all. They just sit and watch when Tiki is playing with hers. |
Congratulations! Luna is a cutie! I also believe that things happen for a reason. I have always felt/found that the right pup finds YOU lol. |

LOL! I bought 2 new toys for Luna when I picked her up...Cayo made them his! I believe he read Yorkie rules! She plays a lot with him when I let them loose at home. Also she started yesterday to play fetch but Cayo arrives before her. The thing is if I separete them Cayo barks, Luna cries! Guess even though they got together nicely, we are still in the adaptation process and Luna does not trust completely yet though you cannot tell. It will be just a matter of time. BTW, Cayo has already broken 2 new cat snap off collars I have bought for her. I like they because of the jingle bell so I know where they are and they are not dangerous. But he chews on it and breaks the closure! I can hear when he is chewing for it sounds like if he is eating kibble. Had to leave her without it. Maybe they are cheaper by the dozen? :D |
Congrats!! They are both beautiful!! |
oh my they are both so precious! Sounds like a match made in heaven :D |

How adorable! Those are two happy little faces! Re: the jingle-bell collar, I needed to add a bell to my little girl's collar without switching to a breakaway. In the cat collar section, I found two different sizes of "Whisker City" collar bells that can be attached to whatever style of collar you're using. They seemed more pet-safe than the jingle bells I'd looked at at the craft store, and the sound is loud enough that I always know where my tiny mischief-maker is just by listening. Congratulations on your sweet new addition. |
The collars brought he bells attached. They are pet supposedly safe. He acts like this because she is in heat. I have her with the panties. I know what you are going to say, panties do not prevent, but they are next to me in the playpen always or running and playing around the house under our watch. She will be spayed in July. |
