Madonna and her Chi's....
 
This really makes me sad....why on earth would she do such a thing...she could have bought a house and had staff just to take care of the chi's she can more than afford it. Guess she really does have a heart of ice.

One of the Chihuahuas died, but two of them recovered and are supposedly in good homes now.

Yeah I realized it was old but I never saw it before. I just wanted to make sure everyone else knew about it as this is the first time I did. :) I don't so much really support her but certainly will not now. Thank you for the link.

In Touch is notorious for publishing stories that are not true. The Chihuahua rescue that is the source of the story is rather vague. Are they saying they handled the dogs? Also, the injuries and neglect did not happen in Madonna's care, correct? Sounds like she gave the dogs to a home (maybe an employee?) that was not good for them. I don't know why anyone with her lifestyle would want a dog in the first place. They can't travel between continents readily, so the person would not be able to spend much time with them.

Good point. The Examiner, which has the story that I linked to, is also a notoriously bad news website. I just googled "Madonna chihuahua" and all of the news articles I found came back to those two articles, and no mainstream news outlets, so maybe the story is false.

Celebrity gossip is my guilty pleasure and I have never heard Madonna had a dog. Then again, I have never seen these pictures of Madonna holding a dog. Still, I think if this story were true, it would have followed her forever. I think it would have come up when there was scandal surrounding her adoption of her youngest child.

that is why I never knew about it do not read in touch or believe there trash.

it happened in the 90's and the women who wrote the first article was handling them from the person they were re-homed to. She gave them to somebody who did not properly care for them.

She has enough money to hide the truth imo. she can cover up anything she chooses I believe she has that much power. so who knows but I can't see the rescue lying I mean what would they gain....
