Does your yorkie do this? Whenever I come home, Tatiana is thrilled to see me. When she hears my keys in the front door, she RUNS LAPS around the sofa in excitement, then runs to the front door to meet me. Do your yorkies do this? I had no idea she ran laps around the sofa until my husband told me. He would laugh at Tatiana, saying,"Yes, it's Mommy!" All I knew was she met me at the front door. Tatiana does not do this for my husband when he comes home; only me. Incidentally, I am not gone for long; maybe about an 1-1/2 hours for errands. |
Aw, that's so cute sounding! Tibbe runs all through the living room, den and down the hall as the area rugs are all pushed out of position as his paws hit them over and over hard! It's so sweet that they are that excited to see us, isn't it? |
Tha's great....Bella almost always goes anywhere I go, but if she must stay home she meets me at the door. |
when I come through my front door Cody is there to greet me, I give him a bigggg mommy is home, a face squeeze then he is off and jumping from sofa to love seat, runs through the house like crazy boy, back to me and then it's out to potty. Then I get my yorkie kisses & nibbles. I live my crazy lil boy |

Thank you for all your replies, Everyone. All your yorkies sound so adorable! I agree - it's sweet that Tatiana is so excited to see me. Heart warming, really. She seems to love me with all her heart. I've teased my husband about it, asking him,"Do you do laps around the sofa when I get home?" :) Tatiana love me best! |
Same here Bob dances up and down the sofa waving his paw out the window at us then rans to the back door then up of the armchair for a hug and kiss |
My Biewer Bailey scratches the inside of the door when he hears the keys unlocking the door. He runs to greet me then runs to get me a toy. Everyone who comes to visits gets a toy and a greeting from him. I love watching him, it is the cutest thing. When I take a bath he will come in and get on his back paws and give me kisses; then he will disappear and come back with a toy. Yorkies are all SOOO cute. That's why we love 'em |

No :(. I wish ZoE greeted me at the door! Every day I come home from work, she is sleeping in my bed and doesn't stir. My garage is attached, so I know she hears the garage door open and then me entering through the house door, and still she stays in bed. I usually have to go get her. I try convincing myself that it just means she secure and comfortable in home enviroment :confused: Anyone else have a weirdo like mine? |
I get greeted by all the Biewers and 1Havanese at the front door.. Noisy, lol. |

Everybody's yorkies sound so cute! KazzyK810, ZoE is a character! This is my first time hearing about a dog that doesn't greet it's owner when they come home; and a yorkie no less. Actually, her odd behavior is cute in its own way. :) |
Lilah is a total spaz when I get home :) we are out of the ex pen these days but we still ise baby gates and closed doors to limit access to some areas (like the kids rooms! :o ) and there she is bouncing up and down like a bunny at the baby gate across the front door, she races into the bathroom with me ;) she is pretty enthusiastic when other folks get home/come over too though. |
