Does your yorkie tell you what to do? lol... i know this sounds hilarious... but does youre yorkie tell you what to do??? Toby is sitting on the floor watching me and giving me this look like "CMON I WANT TO GO TO BED!!!! GET UP WOMAN!!!! NO MORE YORKIETALK... YOURE YORKIE IS TALKING RIGHT HERE AND HE IS TELLING YOU TO GO TO BED".... he is so expressive of his feelings it is so cute  too bad for him it is a friday ! |
Mine look at me with those eyes too and you know what they want I usually give in . :p |
Oh yes! Sometimes when Jon and I are watching TV she'll run to the kitchen and if we don't follow her she'll wait a bit and then bark a time or two. One of us usually gets up cause we think "what could she possibly be barking at???" As soon as we walk into the kitchen...there she is...tail wagging, toy in mouth looking at us with those eyes that say "okay no more TV, play chase with me!" and she runs around the island. She cracks me up! They have a way of getting you to do what they want that's for sure! HA! |

Of course Chewy tells us what to do! He is a very demanding little fella. |
As I was reading this thread Sophie came over and growled at me. She was ready to eat breakfast. She is very bossy and she will growl, bark, and stamp her feet to get what she wants. She will also hold a toy in her mouth and try to make you take it. She cracks me up. I can't believe how smart she is. |
yup maisy basically tells me when: SHE wants to play, SHE wants to eat, SHE wants to go out, SHE wants to go for a walk, SHE wants me to wake up, SHE wants me to get off the computer, SHE wants to eat MY food (usually my popsicles lol) SHE wants more attention. lol but i also tell her what to do too. |
Chloe is the same way. If someone is on the phone she will growl and bark until they either get off, or pick her up. She loves riding around in the truck so whoever is driving when we pull up in the drive way is usually in trouble for at least five minutes. She also has a bad habit to hit people in the leg with her nose if she dont get what she wants  |
Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! All of my Yorkies tell me what to do!!!!!!! :rofl28ib: :jump28ib: :rofl28ib: :jump28ib: :rofl28ib: :jump28ib: Every morning by 5 AM they all are taken care of before I have my first cup of coffee..... :cup: :clock: |
Both of my girls tell us what do to...Magic lets us know when she wants her ball and won't stop until you give it to her, Sailor lets you know when you wants to go outside she will sit by the door and bark forever...they let us know when they want us to wake and play with them!! They defintely rule our house!!! |
This is so Funny Just the other night, I was thinking this dog can really relay messages like magic. She is very patient but if she thinks I forgot her evening liver treat she will sit in front of me and that little tongue comes out and she licks her mouth to let me know. At night if the news is over and she thinks I am going to be a night owl, she will tug on my robe alittle so she gets me to realize it is better I get to bed. BUT she understands me . I could go on forever on the words and sentences she understand ( remember she's 11yrs) The cutest is if I put something in her dish and I say it is hot and no matter how much she loves it, she will come running back to me until I say "It's OK and she runs so fast and slides on the tile IT IS SO FUNNY. I just love her. :aimeeyork |
This is very funny. YES YES YES my Yorkies talk to me and even attempt to beat me up sometimes. I have a 2 pound female whose job is to get me off the sofa everynight so I can give doggy treats to ALL. This all takes place around 9:00pm. She will run in circles, she will bark, then when that fails she will jump on the sofa and kiss me right on the mouth and dance dance dance then kiss on the mouth and dance bark dance bark. She has learned that is the final act that will get me moving off the sofa. Then everyone runs barking into the kitchen. I'm glad I don't have close neighbors. Every night my hubby used to say "what is wrong with her" I would answer she wants her "cookie". Well soon that word drove all dogs berserk barking about 10 of 'em. So then we started spelling "c-o-o-k-i-e" well damn now they can all spell!! So we now just obey their commands it's more peaceful that way. LOL I could go on and on about how Yorkies rule this house the list is never ending. But problably the most humorist story is this 2 pound dog whose job it is to get my fanny off the sofa. And all 10 of the others are sitting in a circle quitely WATCHING! When she finally does her job all hell breaks loose on the way to the kitchen! They even let her have the first cookie as her reward for a job well done! LOL |

As if it wasnt enough having my boyfriend, my parents, 5 sisters, 11 neices and nephews telling me what to do, i now have a 2lb ball of fur telling me also!! :p this morning was the first time he decided that it was time for me to wake up. the past few days, i must admit, ive been vbexhausted from work and staying up with him to make sure hes not sick anymore, so i went to bed super early without playing with him for hours like i normally do- so i had to pay for it at about 7 this morning. he would not stop barking until i got out of bed. once i did, he threw his kong at me!!! well, maybe not "threw" but pawed it harshly so that it bounced irratically at my feet. he immediately sat, tail wagging, with a look on his face like "okay, i let you sleep long enough, its ME time!!!!" so needless to say, i was on the floor at 7 this morning playin Kong  |
Yes, they do tell us what to do don't they. I know we are supposed to be the dominate ones but my life is run by my pups!! |
