I cant do anything right now i do have warranty on her and she will be going to the vet the day after she comes home so if she comes up with something i can defintley get my money back. I JUST WANT MY DOG happy and healthy i talked to people who dealt with him before no problems at all.

I honestly cant back out now the only thing i can do is pray i talked to him before i paid for her and he really seems like a really good breeder he post pic of them daily.

You paid in full? I hope everything turns out ok and if his reviews are legit and your happy with your decision I'm happy for you! How good is the health guarantee? I wish you would have joined sooner there are some very good breeders in Texas, including mine ;). He's in my neck of the woods and I could have checked him out for you in person if you still decided to go with him. Either way congrats on ur new puppy!!!

A lot of genetic illness that reputable breeders make sure there dogs do not have don't pop up until 2 years old so you need to look into pet insurance that covers genetic illnesses. You could have gotten a show dog cheaper probably. I wish you found yt before you bought your pup. I fear you will have lots of heartbreak.

Just read the guarantee. I was having such a good day too...14 days of a health guarantee is laughable. He may be a great breeder but I wouldnt give a breeder 5 minutes of my time if their guarantee isn't at least a year. Not covering luxtating patella or hip dysplasia at all made me a bit cranky too. My English bulldog has a 5 year guarantee on her hips and her breed has them way more than yorkies. These type of health problems don't show til the puppy gets older. I'm not directing this at u OP I just can't stand breeders who don't stand behind their "product" and believe me with a 14 day health guarantee that is probably all she is to him.

Definitely get insurance whether your puppy is in perfect health or not. I'm very sorry you were scammed before. Hopefully everything will work out this time.

Lovetodream88 05-15-2014 11:19 AM

I do hope she does ok and stays healthy.

No knowing is not your fault. I didn't know about brokers then learned about this site and found out where I go my yorkie was from a broker and where he got his dogs was from an Amish puppy mill. My baby has had to suffer from many illness because her breeder didn't care about health and stuff so I just like to help and inform people. What you have to do now is just make sure you take great care of her and if she gets sick or has issues you get her the help she needs.

Awww don't be! Hope for the best and prepare for the worst which is what one should do in any situation whether acquiring a puppy or buying a new pair of heels. Ever break a 6 in heel while walking before? Always have backups ;)

I have Trupanion, but I also have Banfield(with Petsmart) for regular check ups, shots, and "hiccups" along the way.

Not a bad parent at all as long as you do the best you can for your pup and get her the help she needs IF she needs it you're doing fine! The fact that you even joined this forum lets me know you love your little girl already. My comments are based on his website alone so it's not based on any real dealings for all I know he could be some type of yorkie guru lol

Yes it's a good thing. The less heats they go through the less chance of mammary cancer they have. Yorkies are also known to not loose all there baby teeth so people get those pulled at the same time.

Well the guru ( Yorkshire terrier club of America) says he's doing many things wrong so I doubt that.

Hot topic!;) Neither one of my pets (female and male) are fixed. I won't do it based on my own personal research and weighing the pros against the cons. However I do understand why those who choose to spay/neuter have the procedures done. All I can advise you to do is research, research, research! You are the one at the end of the day who is responsible for your pet and her well being. There are also plenty of threads on the subject here :D

I use my son's leftover pullups lmao. But yes it is a hassle keeping them away from each other for the month she's in heat( three weeks really but I keep them away from each other 4 weeks just in case...I think a yorkie bulldog mix would be all types of ugly). She can't go on walks that month or the dog park etc. So if u dont want to worry about that I would look into spaying and if there are any adverse effects from it.

I'm sure you can lol I just dont on the off chance I'd run into a male dog that has gotten loose. I'm 5"1 I'd rather not have to fight off the advances of a would be doggie suitor lol
