Lexi HATES harnesses
My puppy hates harnesses. I have tried 4 different harnesses and she hates them all. I finally found one that I really like because she can wear it during the day and it makes it easier when taking her out to potty. Instead of fighting her every time to put it on, I can just connect the leash. It is worse in the morning when I put it on her. I have to distract her with a treat to get it on her, but then she will try to bite at it. She is able to grab part of the strap with her mouth and chew on it. If I try to stop her she will bite at my hand (this is the only time she bites at me). Saying no and trying to distract her does not help. It gets better as the day goes on, but I will still catch her biting at it sometimes. Has anyone else had this issue before, and does it get better over time? Thanks! |
