Hello,
I have returned after an absence from the forum of 14 years. My sweet and beautiful Lizzy crossed over The Rainbow Bridge on Saturday. I struggle to gain any semblance of composure. I want to thank Doreen Hubbard for allowing me to have her. And also Lorraine Hayes because Lizzy's daddy was out of her line. My heart is heavy and there is an awful emptiness in my home without her......additionally, thank you forum members for the support structure you provide. My plan is to get another fur-baby in October. It's just not right without one here.....

I hope you find peace, the loss is overwhelming. I can tell you from experience that a new fur baby will definitely help to heal your heart. It is a lonely feeling and channeling the love you have into another little soul that needs it is very therapeutic! Saying prayers for you...RIP Lizzy.

I am so sorry for the devastating loss of your sweet Lizzy. How kind of you to honor her lineage/breeders. Hugs and support to you during this difficult time. RIP to the newest Yorkie Angel LIZZY.

so very sorry for the loss of your very precious baby.
I agree 100%. I had to put my 16 y/o down this past oct. I know what you are going through. There was such a void in my life. I adopted a 2 1/2 y/o baby in mid. Nov. not planned, I could say he was a gift to me from my vet, and a blessing to me. He filled that void in my life,put love back in my heart, and made my house a home once again. Think about it.

I'm sorry for your loss, its so painful but I promise that soon, those moments of great sadness will be filled with the happy memories your Lizzy shared with you, for now take it a moment and a step at a time and YES do get another baby to share your life with! I can't wait to see pics of your new precious baby!

Thanks to you all. I really mean it. My fist day without rivers of tears and paralyzingly despair. My sweet husband told me today he has been secretly saving money to buy me a gift....he is putting it toward my new fur-baby. I plan to stay active on the forum in the meantime. Happy Mothers Day!

What a sweet husband. Best wishes on finding your next adorable Yorkie. These little furry sweethearts will help ease the pain.

So sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl. I hope things will get a little easier for you in the weeks and months to come, and your memories of her will be a joy and comfort.
