Is commercial dog food actually good for our babies? I was looking at my baby eat the other day and I really wondered.... What exactly is she eating?! I came across this link and it really grossed me Out: The Shocking Truth About Commercial Dog Food Is dog food such as wellness also made this way? I feel kind of horrible for feeding her something so disgusting if it's made that way. How does natural food feeding work? What do you need to add in their food for their daily vitamins? |
no from what I have read lately it is not....and also there could be ingredients they are not listing....a bit scary. |
BalanceIt sells an all in one product and offers free recipes. Your dog is a puppy so you would not be able to buy one of the $25 diets on petdiets but it's a great source of info. |

Do you feed all natural, too? I really just got very grossed out by what she might be eating in her dog food. |

Yes, I've home cooked for 14 years but I do use kibble for backup and convenience. If I can help you in any way, just let me know. There are several of us here that home cook most using the diets from the sources I mentioned. BalanceIt has the puppy option but petdiets doesn't (I think, double check me). |
