I received the lainee bands 2 days ago and I have to say they are amazing! That was 12$ well spent, they stay in ALL day! |
That's great--told you so!! It's hard to believe what a difference a very lightweight & stretchy band can make. Have fun grooming Chloe-she'll learn to love it. All I have to do is say "topknot" & my girls come running. Gotta love 'em! |

If you're having trouble getting bows to stay in try the ones on a metal barrette instead of a band, then clip them over the top of the band, of just below the band so the band anchors it in. smaller is probably better |
And when using the scissors be sure to approach the topknot from the back (so if you were to cut a hair it'd be at the back) & also catch just one loop & pull it out away from the topknot before cutting (again so you won't catch any hair). I always use a plastic or very lightweight barrette to finish off their "look". |
On the Lainee bands...which weight do you buy. My Ripley has fine hair. |
The lightweight--both of mine have fine hair, too. The small size--not the "tiny". |

I also asked him for a sample in medium light and he sent them to me, so you can ask for another size as a sample, too! I definitely like the small better than medium, though. |
I am glad you like them. . . I have been using them for a while and live them. They don't break his hair and with the scissor they are easy to come out. It is going to take forever to get through two bags lol |
I wish the lainee bands were latex free....we have a latex allergy |
