Oh, he's home!!! I'm so happy for you - and for him. He's going to have a bright and fulfilled life now with a wonderful forever home with a real doglover. This is one lucky little guy and so are you!!! Where can we see pictures?

Oh my! I seem to have missed this thread! Yikes! Congratulations on your new little man! Is he eating yet?

I am glad he is home. To get them to eat. I would sit with him and play with him. Give him a piece. See if he would take hand feeding. There is a lot of stress going to a new home.

Maybe some Cesar's will work.

Gizmo is doing wonderfully in his new home!
He follows momma around, and wont let me out of his sight. If I disappear for a second, he acts like I've been gone for eons....his little tail looks as if its a helicopter propeller....so stinkin cute.
He has now started to eat, although not on the regular, and will only eat if it is me that sets his food out. He must be able to see me before he will eat anything. All is well in his world as long as I'm right there beside him.
He carries toys around and tries to bark with said toy still in his mouth, and has become quite the little watch dog. If a leaf is blowing around outside he lets me know...'hey mom there is a something blowing around outside, and I'm going to protect you from it!'
Can you all tell I am soooo in love with this little guy?
Oh and a couple of marking incidents when he first arrived....none since last week Thursday! Whooo Hooo!! He will go and sit by the back door if he needs to go out.
As I type this he is looking at me with such adoring eyes, makes me just melt, lord I'm getting teary eyed here.
Will post some updated pics as soon as I can.

Your post about Gizmo reminds me so much of my experience when we adopted Jackson. They are such loving creatures.
