YorkieTalk's Sweet Mascot, Yoda, Has Passed Away For those who may not know yet - Yorkie Talk's sweet mascot, Yoda, has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Yoda is the handsome little fella you see at the very top of the page, to the left of "YorkieTalk.com". As of Thursday, the 17th - you may have noticed that there is now a halo above Yoda's picture...he is now a little Yorkie angel . We shall miss him dearly, but we know he is now running and playing with his brother Winky, and his other doggie friends who have gone before him. Yoda will always live on as our enduring YorkieTalk mascot and as the very reason for YorkieTalk's existence. He is the reason we have this wonderful community - it was started because of dear Yoda. What a BEAUTIFUL and enduring tribute he leaves behind for us all! To read more about Yoda's story, please see his Dad's tribute thread here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mem...17-2014-a.html  ~RIP sweet boy - Mr. Yoda Abraham Wu~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
I will always be thankful to Yoda for inspiring this wonderful forum that has enriched and saved the lives of many Yorkies through the sharing of information and experience. |
Thank you sweet Yoda for being the inspiration for the birth of Yorkie Talk. You will be forever remembered, loved and honored by all the members of this community who are so grateful for this wonderful site. There are countless Yorkies worldwide who have been helped by owners sharing information on Yorkie Talk, and my pupsters certainly have a better life because of this community. I also cherish the friendship and support I have found here. Rest in Peace Yoda, run free with all our precious pups who are also at the Rainbow Bridge where we will all meet again. |
RIP Sweet Yoda... and Thank you for all you have inspired, and will continue to inspire through this website to make us all better Yorkie owners. |
This was such heartbreaking news. RIP precious Yoda. I will always remember him. |
RIP Yoda, I never met you but your life impacted mine and Sophie Kates. Be with your brother Winky and know your Mom and Dad's journey to impact Yorkie ownership will carry on. |
I would venture to say that because of the love shared by Yoda's parents in developing this website, more people with Yorkies have been brought together in friendship, laughter, tears, and sometimes a few flame wars than a combination of all other "yorkie venues" combined. Yoda, you will always be the guiding angle of YorkieTalk. FE - thank you so much for sharing your darling yorkie son with us. Because of YorkieTalk, yorkies worldwide have better and more informed parents. |
I am so sorry to hear that |
Yoda, you saved a lot of pups and so many of us have lasting friendships because of you! Thank you to you and your family for this wonderful site! RIP sweet angel .. |
Galen and I want to thank you so much for creating YorkieTalk. If it was not for this group I would never have learned about Biewers. Your brought a group of people all across the country and the world together. . . . For one reason . . . The Yorkie. . . . If it wasn't for Yoda and your search for knowledge about Yorkies we would not have everything you need about the breed here. I have made everlasting friends here and I thank you for this. . . We will all meet together at the rainbow bridge to have one fabulous meet up ! Rest in Peace Little Angel Yoda ! You have touched so many lives ! |
RIP yoda you and your family impacted alot of lives on here. |
The Yorkie world and those of us who love them and use this site will never be the same, thanks to the one and only Prince Yoda and what must have been part of his inspiration for this site - that loving a dog isn't enough - one must be informed to love responsibly. The love of this "cute, furry doll" of a Yorkie who slept in an antique bassinet as a puppy, imbued with a dear, gentle spirit and fiery green eyes, resulted in the whole world now having a quality, friendly website where one and all can virtually meet, read, learn, ask questions, exchange information, share stories and ideas, have fun and seek support in times of need. Thanks to little Yoda Abraham Wu, we are all much better-informed and engaged dog owners and advocates than we ever could have been without YorkieTalk.com. And we all owe him a "Good boy, Yoda!"! :animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa |
RIP Yoda may you and your brother run free. Prayers to Yoda's family. |
We will always be grateful to Yoda and YT for connecting us to a whole world of Yorkies and the people who love them through this site. RIP little sweetie. |
RIP, Yoda. |
