Toothless 2 pound Yorkie missing in New York I read an article about a 2-pound dog that went missing in Staten Island, NY. Aside from wondering how someone "climbed under bushes," I figured I'd share it here. Here's the link: Have you seen this dog? Yorkie goes missing in West Brighton | SILive.com The article words (not picture) are pasted below in blue. Have you seen this dog? Yorkie goes missing in West Brighton STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A fragile 9-year-old Yorkie named Chewy who was recovering from jaw surgery has gone missing in West Brighton. He was last seen around noon Friday on the 400 block of Forest Avenue. "We searched the whole neighborhood, we climbed under bushes and we cannot find this dog anywhere," owner Janice Kempisty said. "He's not going to last because he doesn't have any teeth in his mouth." Ms. Kempisty said she and her family and friends have been out searching for Chewy and blanketing the neighborhood with flyers that bear his picture for the past two days. If you see him, please call Ms. Kempisty at 718-727-1348. |
So sad! I hope and pray they find him! |
Poor little guy!! I hope someone picked him up and is taking care of him until his owners find him. I don't quite understand how you loose a 2 lb yorkie. He shouldn't be left outside unattended...especially with no teeth and recovering from jaw surgery:( |
Prayers go up. : ( |
Saying prayers for a safe return. |
