So hurt Hello everyone. This is my first time trying to figure this posting stuff out. Please forgive me. I am a new yorkie mom and CaliGirl is now 10 months old. I cannot believe how much I love this little dog. I am struggling with the fact that she might already have symptoms of collapsing trachea and will be getting xrays in a few days. Is this unheard of in such a young baby? |
:welcome4: :yorkietal :welcome4: Welcome to you and Caligirl. I am so glad you joined our growing family of Yorkie lovers. I am so very sorry to hear that you suspect Cali has a collapsing treachea. I don't have any experience with the condition, so I can't offer any advice. I will keep you and Cali in my thoughts and prayers. PLEASE be sure to keep us updated on Cali's condition, we truly care and want to know how she's doing. |
Welcome to YT, from another Cali! We will pray your Cali's symptoms are not collapsed trachea, but if so hopefully it can be treated. Keep us posted! |
Welcome! Praying Cali is ok. |
Welcome to YT. I am sorry it is not under happier circumstances. Sending prayers that the diagnosis is not collapsed trachea. Hugs to you during this difficult time. |
Welcome and I hope your enjoy YT - but boy, hate to hear that news about your young Yorkie girl, Cali. Any chance it's reverse sneezing or just odd sounds she makes and not really CT? I pray it's not but even if it is, I've heard from many that it can be managed conservatively. Please keep us updated. |
Here is a great YT link http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...d-trachea.html I used it when I first brought Buster home as he had a bad case of Kennel Cough. |
