I just spent 4 hours at the car dealership with a 3 year old getting what was supposed to be a 1 hour repair. Great fun I tell you. What made it almost unbearable was the idiot woman coming in to sell her puppies, not yorkies but cute little labs. Apparently she worked there in sales and since she was having something done to her car thought she would bring in 2 of her 11 puppies to sell, and sell she did try. You know the obnoxious used car salesmen on late night tv, just put them in a skirt (or in this case a blue jogging suit).
This woman's 16 year old daughter wants a new car so instead of telling her to go to the local Mcdonalds they decide to breed their 2 labs, after all they're AKC so everyone will want them, right? Very upfront as to why the bred their dogs.
When I asked about any hip or eye testing, basic for labs, she said "oh that was done" when ask for proof before buying she said that the breeder she got them from had it. Can you even do testing as a puppy, since she got hers at 8 weeks? I ask about a spay/neuter contract she said "can you do that? But I don't really care." No health guarantee. She wants 500 for malesand 600 for females. sounds like she definitly doesn't care.
She was handing these puppies to anyone who would take one like the sales person she was, working the room. These dogs were in everyones arms and all over the filthy floor, ok not filthy but definitly germ laden floor.I think she was offended when I wouldn't let my 3 year old touch the puppies. I told her I had my own at home and didn't want to take a chance wof contamination with unvaccinated puppies. Her puppies are only 5 weeks old. It is illegal to even sell them at this age.
The saddest thing is that if they don't make enough money the plan on breeding her again, after all "they usually come into heat a month or 2 after the puppies are weaned don't they?":mad: |
