Thank you both for always reaching out to help others. People like you are one of the huge reasons why I love YorkieTalk. I learn so much from both of you but, most of all, I love your compassion and your willingness to give of yourselves, even when it means you are tugging on your own heartstrings.

It is very discouraging when people come here desperate for an answer, have a very serious problem that does need to be addressed, and they do not even indicate they have read what everyone has taken the time to try to help them with. What you have said, that there are many, many others that read these posts over time and that just maybe the advice given will help someone else, is encouraging to the breeders and the others that are very knowledgable and can offer solid advice and help in a variety of areas, and they see no response from the person that desperately asked for help. Perhaps time was not wasted, answering desperate pleas for help, even if they dont come back and indicate they read the help.

Sadly, the OP message had been posted for an hour before I saw it... hopefully they got good info from someone somewhere and were able to help the mommadog and babydog. I tried searching for an answer but couldn't find anything about this particular behavior, mostly refusal to feed and babies not being accepted by mom. It's here now though, and I'm sure will be helpful in the future. Thanks again.
