No post notifications in my email
 
Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone can answer this question. For the past 2 days I have stopped getting my emails for threads I have posted on or for private messages. I checked my profile settings and don't see anything wrong.

Yikes....nevermind.....seems my Gmail decided to spam my YT. I think it's fixed.:rolleyes:

Check your spam folder. Mine were there. Since I marked them not spam my notifications just came in.

I have not been getting mine since Wednesday also -- and Admin has been working on mine. I've let Admin know about this thread as well.

I had trouble getting the website to load until just now today. Anybody else have trouble getting on the site today?

I did and I checked the site "Down for Everyone or Just Me?" and it said YT went down for a brief time.

I've used that site before. That's when I knew for sure that I am hooked on YT (like I needed that experience to tell me).

Yikes, Lisa! I hadn't thought of that. You are right - that's addiction when one must go check on the viability of the website RIGHT NOW and can't wait a while and check back. Oh, my! But then I knew I was a YT addict one month after joining so I'm lost anyway.

Yes, I cannot get Firefox to load yorkietalk.com so I went to Google & gained access that way.

I noticed your post this morning. When I checked my email this afternoon I noticed that there were no post notifications there so I checked my spam folder. Sure enough gmail had decided to spam my YT emails! I almost always open them! How dare they decide what I consider spam!

There was something to click on that gave info on why they had done it but I didn't read it. Now I kind of wonder what other communications of mine they have decided to mark as spam. There certainly are enough ads that I get from various stores, etc. Why didn't they pick on one of them I wonder?

So this is the gmail explanation of why the YT emails were marked as spam. I went back to my spam folder and looked for other types of email they have done the same to and there are more. Such nerve. Don't they think we have the brains to know what we consider to be spam and what we don't? I have been getting email notifications from YT for quite a while so it makes no sense that their automated system just picked it up.
