I am not sure if this is good or bad...anyone else see this??

I don't even get why they would put yorkies in a zoo ? Those poor babies :-(

The North Korens don't treat their people well so I doubt that dogs would fare any better. Terrible!

they should have kept Dennis Rodman and put him in their zoo, he is much odder to look at than yorkies are. Dumb people that is for sure.

Thank you for sharing the petition also. To see these Yorkies stuck in a zoo environment, it's sad and heartbreaking! Poor babies :(

Oh, my gosh! Wish I didn't know about this! Horrible! Cruel and hateful! Poor little babies - just stuck in a cage somewhere with no home life, no real love, no cuddles and kisses all day long and sleeping with mommie and daddy at night, no Christmas presents and family picnics and daily activities of the family for them to be 100% involved in, if in no other way just watching and involving themselves to the extent they can? Zoos are just awful and should never exist for any creature. Shame on humans who can't seem to learn about or fully appreciate animals without caging them and forcing them to live un-natural lives, displaying them like art objects for us to spend 10 minutes of our time staring at every 5 years or so! Dogs are too sentient and bright an animal to be stuck in a loveless zoo life in a cage - even a large cage - for their lifetime! How horrible for the poor doggies! I'm going to go sign that petition now! I'm thoroughly disgusted by some humans!

I remember years ago, when my children were little, taking them to a zoo in Eindhoven in Germany. There was a HUGE gorilla there, stuck in a cage so small that it practically fitted it - she could put her arms through the bars....:(

When we got back to England, I got in touch with Zoowatch (it's run by the people who starred in Born Free the movie, about Elsa the lioness?) and we managed to get that gorilla removed to a free-er, happier environment.

I think we all should keep an eye on these little Yorkies....

How awful. Isn't it bad enough that South Korea is a place where massive puppy mills exist? Now the North that can't even feed it's own people is putting these creatures in a zoo!

Oh, you are my hero for getting that poor gorilla out of that hell!!!!!! God bless you, Sally, for helping that poor thing. I hate people who put animals on display in cages or small pens or pools/tanks like sculpture or paintings! It's the cruelest thing to do to an animal or wild birds. Heck, I can't even stand to see fish in aquariums but think hopefully they don't know better though they just swim in brain-dead circles over and over but that gorilla KNEW he was in hell. I KNEW you were special for many reasons and here is one more huge one!

My question is "WHY??" are they doing this? Is it because they are killing these dogs, or planning to kill all the dogs outside of the zoo, so they have put these three in the zoo so people will be able to see what no longer exists in public? These three MIGHT be the "lucky ones".......
