We pick her up on SATURDAY!!!! 2 Attachment(s) Everyone, wish us luck. We pick up Isabella Rose on Saturday. :D We have to take her directly to the vet afterwards to get her checked out, per breeder's policy, so cross your fingers for us that she's a healthy baby girl and we get to take her home. :) Here's some pics that we got! |
Congrats! How exciting!! Beautiful baby! |
Congratulations! I hope it all checks out great at the vet for ya. I bet you are glad the wait is over! I still have a while to wait, but I get to visit him all weekend! Keep us posted with pictures and everything! |
Congrats!! She is just adorable! |
Thanks everyone!! Pictures will definitely come after we have her home. I'm trying to be cautious and wait until she's finally HERE but I can't help it, I'm just too excited, lol. Already on a shopping spree, we get a great kit from the breeder with her food and nutrical, so that's taken care of, so now we're shopping for the fun stuff! lol Need to get her a jacket and sweater, just in case, bought her steps for when she gets a little older, have a carrier for her and going to get her a bed and several toys. I'll wait until she's home with us and we see more of her personality before we go really wild, lol. |

Congratulations. We taught Cali to use the stairs next to the bed right after we got her and she has never tried to jump off the bed she always uses the stairs even when she's excited. |
Congratulations! She is precious! |
I'm so happy for you. She's a doll and she's very lucky to have you as her mommy! :D |

BTW ... like Patti said and I agree ... let her go ahead as soon as possible and get familiar with those stairs! We did this for Toto and she will let you know quickly if there is something that's too high for her, but won't attempt to jump up or down without her little "helpers"!! ;) |
She is a doll! Good luck |
Thank you everyone!! I feel like this is meant to be, I just hope it works out okay and that I do well with taking care of her. I'm a little nervous about how good I'll be, I keep hearing stuff about puppies getting sick, but I'm trying to get past that before we get her. But reassurance from you guys is helping! lol Any advice on getting her acqauinted with the steps? We were lucky with Kelli, of course, since she was older and knew to just run up and down the ones outside with no prodding, but she was FAST too and would jump off the couch and stuff before we could even get to her!! I wanna make sure this little one knows that's a no no, lol. |
Are the steps carpeted? If not, I'd probably recommend putting a runner on them for now to protect the baby from any hard knocks. I just have a couple of very, very low steps. In fact, there is one low step onto a landing from the patio and then one more low step onto another landing before you go in the back door. It is all carpeted and I put a rug down on the concrete so she wouldn't bust her "noggin'" in the process of learning. The first week she was climbing up them by using her little toe nails to hold on. It was very cute. There was no way for her to fall and hurt herself, since it is a wide landing and if she didn't make it up the step, well, her back feet were still on the bottom. |
I am so happy for you! ..make sure you give her mini kisses ..hehe Deb |
Congratulations!!!!! Can't wait to hear more about her!!! She's so super cute!!! :) :) :) |
