I got mine! My madan brush came today just in time. All of that nasty ice has melted and we now have a mud problem. Barney decided to have a spa day and his face was covered in little mud balls. I let them dry and then used the brush to carefully brush them away. Then, he got a full body brushing. I can't believe how good his coat still looks. Usually 5 minutes after brushing, it looks like it hasn't been brushed all day. I immediately put Anna's hair up in the new rhinestone barrette. She looked like a little princess. Thanks minimomo! |
How fabulous that the brush worked so well, yay! Jenny is the best. |
He must be a very good boy. Gracie won't let me near her face with a brush. I always comb it out with the mustache comb. I do love the Maden brush for her body through. It always gives a nice finish to the coat. |

No, he is terrible about being brushed. Normally, I would use a comb on his face. But he knew he was in trouble for the mud so he didn't put up a fight. He did not try to bite this brush like he does when I use the slicker brush. Much better experience! I agree about the coat finish. I was really impressed with how long the sheen lasted after his brushing. Usually he looks like a wild man again within a few minutes of brushing. |
Yay, so glad you like the Small Madan brush! I use it for the face too. If you're worried about poking their eyes, you can cover their eye w/your finger while holding their head gently & brush their muzzle holding the brush vertically. It works very nicely, smoothing the hair around their mouth. Enjoy!:D |

Thank you! I'm still loving it. My 19 year old son comes home from college on weekends for his job. Even he noticed Barney's coat. He thought he'd just had a bath. I'm not sure why, but it seems to go through his coat much more smoothly than the slicker brush. He even lets me do his legs with the Madan. He normally won't let me near them. |
