Are they all the same? I just finished bathing and brushing Gunner. Got the perfect top-knot, he looked beautiful. Well, I put him on the carpet and the face sliding starts! He now looks the same as he did before I started, geez......:( |
Yes!!! Barney does this too. He looks beautiful for about 5 seconds. Then, he's a scraggly mess. If he wasn't so skinny, I'd just give up and give him a puppy cut. |
Oh no! Silly pups. My boys do this right after the bath or if I use something stinky (scented) like ear cleaner, but not after they are dry. They do shake their heads after I comb them. Max especially likes having his lion's mane fluffed up. Drives me nuts. |
Ricky loves to rub around after his bath. Usually I will blow dry him and then let him get all the rubbing out of his system and then do his hair...and then afterwards I give him a treat to chew on and by the time he's done eating that, he usually forgets about rubbing his hair tie out. Per other members suggestions, I ended up buying little scrunchies for his hair and we no longer use rubber bands. I am so of happy we made the switch. It doesn't hurt to put his hair up or take it out anymore and the red sore spot on his head is gone. |

Joel does it every time but I notice if I dry him really good and then distract him with some treats he feels dry and forgets about sliding all over, but now thats his hair stays short I don't mind:p |
Gunner does it no matter what. Dry.. wet... daily top knot. He is a bugger! |
Bella does the face-sliding after every bath too. I'm glad it's not just me. |
Bella does that too. |
My two don't do it much when I blow dry them. I think they like feeling dry. |
Galen does the same thing. I say he likes the Hot Mess look lol |
