Questions about TRAVELING BY TRAIN for the first time! Hello, I'll be picking up my Yorkie this Friday (finally!) and I am going by train. She will be 12 weeks tomorrow. She is our family's FIRST pet so I want to make sure she is comfortable on our 3 1/2 hour return trip on this train. I have her carrier, pee pad, and poop bags ready to go. Is there anything else I should bring, besides the obvious leash and harness? Should I bring any treats? If so, do you know of any natural/homemade treats? How can I give her some water while traveling? How often will she go potty in the 3 1/2 hour time frame? Any added advice is appreciated! |
How exciting. If you do need to feed her or give her a treat I would ask the breeder to give you whatever she has been giving her. You don't want to upset her tummy with new foods. A blanket. I don't know if you have Nutrical there but it is a paste you can give them if they look like their sugar level is getting too low. Let us know how it goes. |
Congrats on your new baby girl you will love her, I got my little boy about a week ago, when I took him down in the train station the MTA officer or whatever he is told me he is not allowed down there so I asked him why is that and he claimed because he is not a service dog, Is this true are they not allowed in the train? |
