I was under the impression that judges are looking for breed standard and that's a medium docked tail, so chances of an undocked Yorkie winning is slim. |
I love that tail! |
I always Dock my Males tails, but not my Females, helps me ID who's doing what when we're hunting. Traditionally, the length of a Dock for Terriers, was the width of the Palm of one's Hand. Made a nice handle to pull them out of a hole if they got stuck. |
2 Attachment(s) My little girl has a tail ... The Briewer standard is to have a tail .. personally I love their tails and have got so much joy out of seeing Holly's tail waging at a hundred miles an hour ... its like a flag too and gets really bushy ... we can see it sticking out of long grass :-) |
I left one of my female puppies undocked. I knew we were keeping her as a pet and hated the thought of cutting off her tail. The other 3 got docked, because they'll be going to other homes. |
