yes the one on my profile is the one im talking about the one I posted was just to shpw what I mean by unocked tail

lol yeah cause everyone was like oh your dogs on a website I was like what?! lol but they though I was talking about that dog suzie shes not mine but she represents what I was trying to say . lol

I just wanted to correct this. Yorkies can and have been shown with a full tail. It's considered a fault just like a wider ear set or any one of a number of faults. Many judges will not put up a yorkie with a full tail regardless but there are plenty that will.

It's odd something they are born with is a fault BUT I consider my tail a fault too :p

I understand that can be shown, but has an undocked Yorkie ever won?

I was under the impression that judges are looking for breed standard and that's a medium docked tail, so chances of an undocked Yorkie winning is slim.

I always Dock my Males tails, but not my Females, helps me ID who's doing what when we're hunting. Traditionally, the length of a Dock for Terriers, was the width of the Palm of one's Hand. Made a nice handle to pull them out of a hole if they got stuck.

My little girl has a tail ... The Briewer standard is to have a tail .. personally I love their tails and have got so much joy out of seeing Holly's tail waging at a hundred miles an hour ... its like a flag too and gets really bushy ... we can see it sticking out of long grass :-)

I left one of my female puppies undocked. I knew we were keeping her as a pet and hated the thought of cutting off her tail.

The other 3 got docked, because they'll be going to other homes.
