Athena doesn't have a date for the Valentines Day ball. Shes a bit young to date, but if there is a nice young man that would like to join her "just as friends", she would love to go.

Side note: taking pictures of puppies is NOT easy.......lol. 2 out of like 30 came out half way decent.

Those are very nice pictures..... Did you submit them into the VDB submission thread? If I were you, I would. The people putting the video together might be able to match your youngster up with a date or a chaperon. Quick, quick, quick though... photos were due yesterday.

Maybe there's another puppie that can be matched up with her... doesn't hurt to try and there are the solo submissions....

ROFL....well he could be her adopted big brother. After all its fitting for a young girl her age to go with her brother.

LOL That is a great way to approach it... As long as we don't have any Woody Allens on here...LOL Your girl will be just fine... looked like others are a bit behind on photo submissions.... just a guess, I think you'll get a spot. I've only been here less than 2 months so can't say for sure.

I dont know what i was thinking. Athena already has a big brother. He can take her. I just didnt think of it because he isn't a yorkie........lol. Submitted as well.

I hadn't even read the VB post and just seen it :-( my Gizmo is just under 8 months old and would love to have a puppy love for the Ball xoxo, he is very loving and playful, and loyal to a fault lol, if they will allow us to submit a photo tomorrow, Gizmo would be honored to escort your darling Athena to the ball :-)

Aww, that is so sweet. I already posted my other dog Zeus as her escort however. :-(, wish I had met you sooner. Im sure she would have rather gone with Gizmo then her brother....lol. I love the name Gizmo. I use to have a cat with that name.

Stella was around the same age when she went last year with another little girl!!
But omgeeee he is sooo flippin cute those teeth are killing me!!! And I mean that in a too cute type of killing me way :p don't want people thinking I am being mean!!

HAHAHA yes those teeth of his certainly give him character. My 4 year old granddaughter, the first time she saw his underbite, said to me...

"Nana, he has his mean teeth out at me!"

I said..."Nooo baby, he is just smiling at you."

She said,"Ohhhh, HE LIKES ME!!"

they have been best friends ever since. whenever she comes to visit me Zeus wont leave her side. She hasn't met Athena yet.

You have to love the mind of a child!! My daughter is 4 1/2 months old and I can already tell her and Guinness are going to be that way... Stella could care less about anybody that is not her "daddy" lol
