Things you do that your yorkie doesn't like? So sometimes Cookie likes to take a nap in her bed, but sometimes she just wants my blanket and a pillow. She starts scratching at them like crazy to fluff them up, but if I try to scratch at the blanket and/or pillow to get it ready she gets mad and starts play-biting my hand and arm. Cook and only Cook is allowed to prepare her bedding. :yelrotflm Anything you guys do that your yorkies don't like? |
My Yorkie goes nuts at the vacuum cleaner. Like, insane barking, growling, lunging... you get the idea. |

Kristin that is too funny. You shouldn't make fun of them. Lol! Lexi does not like it when I take her toys away from her because she is chewing too much on them and stuffing is starting to come out. I will set them on a table about three feet high. She will jump to look at them or climb on the back of the chair which is right next to them. Then I get the stink eye! |
Winston just doesn't like change...anything out of the ordinary. He goes past it all the time looking over his shoulder...like he's thinking "that ain't right"!!! |

Magnus absolutely loves it when we play chase and I go after him. But he gets upset when it's his turn to chase me. LOL He'll start whimpering if after few rounds around the kitchen island. Zoey... it's ok for her to "groom" my hands but she hates it when I even touch her hands (front paws). Her hind paws, no problem. Her front, she'll pull them back if you reach for them. LOL |
Take out the rubbish. I have two entrances in my apartment, one is the doggy fun door, if I go out that door they usually come with me. The main door is the mummy leave for work door. When I leave for work they are fine and don't care, but if I take the rubbish out to the skip and use the doggy fun door they go mental and bark like mad, because I didn't take them with me. |
My baby Leila hates mops and vacuums (trys to attack them). Also, when we blow on her, she covers her face with her paws (so cute!) until she lunges at our face trying to bite our lips off...lol! She is very demanding and when someone is not paying attention to her, she will make noises until they acknowledge her there. |
They hate when we clap or cheer like during sports game. They both jump up and bark like crazy! Fletch gets this worried look in his eyes, like something is really wrong! LOL He also hates when we high five or slap at mosquitos, and he HATES when I sneeze. Only me.... if he's laying with me he'll get up, go lay with DH and shoot me dirty looks for hours. How DARE I sneeze near him!?!? LOL |
Boy...I could write a long list of things my boys don't like... Ricky doesn't like being brushed...and he hates putting his harness and his clothes on. He will hide under the coffee table if he sees me grabbing a brush, harness or clothing. Once the clothing or harness is on, he is fine with it though.... Princeton hates boots/shoes. I haven't tried them on Ricky, but I suspect I will have the same results. Prince hates when I leave and likes to mark everywhere to remind me how much he hates it. Most recently, he hates it when I put his belly band on to prevent him from marking everywhere. Both of them hate to take their vitamins or any kind of medication. I can't sneak it in cheese or PB or anything because they are just too darn smart and will pick it out. Prince also hates anyone playing....including Ricky and the cat. He also hates it when anyone comes within a few feet of him when he's got a treat. |
"Crab Bait" doesn't like to be woken late at night. LOL The Cujo comes out of him.... |

When Gracie scratches at the blanket it means she wants to get under it. I lift it up and under she goes. This happens summer and winter. I guess she gets a little cool sometimes and wants to warm up but in the summer if the AC or a fan is on she wants under then, too.:rolleyes: I guess the only things she really dislikes me doing are bathing her and when I leave the house without her. She doesn't act up but she is an excellent pouter.:) |
I could go on & on LOL Dexter can't stand other dogs. My mom was visiting with her 5lb Yorkie poo (smaller than dex) and he would not have ANYTHING to do with her. Poor little girl loved my boys so much! He hates being brushed, groomed in any way actually, and he hates the vacuum, including the pool one which he goes crazy for. When we use the pool net to scoop out anything in the pool he goes mental barking and growling at it. Fletch hates motorcycles, kids on bikes or running, and my nephews. (small kids in general), he just barks like a mad man! |
It's funny; the vacuum doesn't bother Cookie at all because I held her while vacuuming for the first couple of months I had her. But the broom is a two-hand job, so she still hates when I use it! |
Any time I leave and don't take her with me I pay the price when I get home. She is very stand offish and takes a couple of hours before she forgives me. |
Gizmo hates for any of our cats to come near me as he has claimed me as his mama, he also hates the vacuum as well as the broom. The worst is he hates when I tell him No, and he barks at me like nobody's business and will not stop barking for anything (which by the way I seriously need to learn how to get the barking under control!!! Everything I have read and tried has been complete failure). |
Little girl hates going outback to potty. Hates when I don't let let her sleep on my pillow at bedtime. Coco la rue hates being alone. She always has to be lying in a humans lap or she will bark, twirl on her hind legs and paw at you. This includes the humans bathroom break. She is nicknamed the stalker. |
Hahaaha brilliant post,,,, I can relate to all of them,,,,, Beau starts staring and shakes when I lift my make-up bag, she knows I'm going out,sonny the oddball hates vacume,mop, bath, and especially when I say the word EARS which means cleaning ears time, he runs and hides :rolleyes: gino is great ,the only thing he hates is strangers comin near his garden and finally Frazer well he is just a big giant playful nutcase :rolleyes: |
