Huey is the same way. He paws at the covers until I raise them up, then he shoots down until he is either behind my knees or against my stomach. I often wonder how he can breathe under there, but he comes out a few times a night & lays on top for a while. I think he gets hot. |
Mikki goes under the covers. She gets between me and DH and never moves. Rosie moves around all night long. I will pat Mikki through the night just to make sure she's ok! I don't know how they do it either! |
Lexie doesn't sleep with us at night, but sometimes I'll put her in the bed to snuggle before we go to sleep & she always heads under the covers & curls up against my stomach. She'd stay there all night if I'd let her. I think dogs just like those warm tight places. I'm not sure about the breathing, but obviously they do get enough air or they wouldn't stay burrowed. That said, I also sleep with the covers over my head a lot & never have a problem breathing. :) |
Two of ours always have to be under the covers, but Lilli gets hot and always comes out after barely even 10 minutes. Lotte though will stay under between me and my husband and sometimes even starts breathing hard, but she will NOT budge or come out! It used to worry me, but now I just know that's how she is. haha |
Sophie likes to stick her head into me or the pillow. I myself have had to shake her to make sure she is ok. Wish I could sleep that good :D Scares me to death sometimes. |
Couver loves to burrow under the covers. He is almost always under the covers at my chest, but he will occasionally go to my feet. I hate having the covers over my face, so I don't know how they do it! |
