Staring??? Hello: Is it common for adult Yorkies to quite often stare at you? My Ginger will sit on my lap, across the room, on the floor, just about anywhere, and simply look at me...stare! I'll talk to her and she sometimes just continues to stare. I know her signals for going outside, wanting me to pick her up. and again, these are just stares. :confused::) |
I think it is a yorkie thing. Lexie always stares, especially at my husband. I'll often do the slow blink at her & she does it back. Very cute! |
Joel does, but I taught him to stare at me since he was a baby, he has the strongest laser beam eyes lol:) |
Bella will stare at me, but if I do so much as glance back at her, she will jump at me and try to lick my face. I call her "The Face-Stealer" (a reference to Avatar, The Last Airbender). |

jasmine stared at us too. She will sit and stare. If you stare back, she will run to grab her toys and will throw it at you to play. Silly babies. |
Thank y'all so much. I really enjoyed reading all of the replies. It is cute and I had been wondering about other reactions to the 'staring' thing. Ginger will mostly stare at me anytime and anywhere. On my lap, holding her, or if she is just sitting or standing on the floor. Sometimes I'll be reading a book, watching TV or on the computer and I'll get this feeling and sure enough, Ginger is staring at me! Again, thanks for your replies...:) |

Roxie will sit about 6 feet from me and just stare at me for long periods of time. |
Gizmo stares at me constantly, he uses it to manipulate me lol. I always tell people avoid eye contact or he will hypnotize you with his magic eyes heehee. If I don't ask him what he wants after a period of his staring, he will jump right in my face and lick me to death, of course what he always wants is too play lol. |
Max stares when he wants something. Teddy is a watcher. I call him my little gargoyle. :) |
