My heart just sank when i read this...I am so sorry. I lost a yorkie in a drowning accident and i know how horrible it is..
They will be in my prayers.

What a tragedy. I know they blame themselves but it truly was not their fault. I am praying that they will find peace in the near future. There have been several drownings and near-drownings on other forums as well. It is almost more than the heart can bear.

omg i am so sorry for your family members loss!!! so unfair!!!!! u and they r in my prayers? will they eventually gat a new puppy???? geesh sometimes life is so cruel!!

I feel so bad for the owners of Diva. What a tragic loss and I will pray for them. Seems I've read so much sadness lately regarding little precious yorkies.

I am so sorry!!! Reading this sent chills up my spine. This is my biggest fear. We built a pool and spa last year and I am so scared about Gus falling in. I accidently kick him in when cleaning it. He got under foot when I was steping in to clean the steps and it scared him big time. He was fine. But would not go near the edge unless I am in there. But the fear is still there!!!

I will say a prayer for your godmother's brother and his wife. May little Diva RIP.

My godmother's brother and his wife just lost their precious little Yorkie named Diva. She was 2 years old and the LOVE of their life. Diva I know that you're safe at the Rainbow Bridge right now and you're with my little angel Katie. We all love you Diva - rest in peace little princess. :(

We are so sorry for their tragedy. I couldn't imagine the grief, let alone the guilt feeling. I would be a mess if that was to happen to me. We will keep them in our prayers.

I am so sorry, what a horrible thing to see and go through. I will pray that thier pain will ease up and we all know that thier little baby is playing at Rainbow Bridge.

Thank you all for the kind words. I'm so heart broken over this. Diva was such a pampered and spoiled little girl and they loved her so much. I don't know how they are going to cope with this, I really don't. I have never heard a grown man in his 60's SOB like that in my entire life -- it just truly breaks your heats to hear.

I spoke to my godmother and we know they kind of people they are -- HUGE dog lovers. I know they will want another little girl Yorkie in the future WHEN THEY ARE READY emotionally. So we decided that when they are ready for another girl, we're both going to chip in and buy them one as a surprise. I know it won't ever take the place of their precious little Diva baby but maybe she will help them heal and move on (the same way Tia is helping me with the loss of my precious little Katie). They really do have so much love to give and they need an outlet for their love. They are the most caring and loving people I know -- I just feel so terrible for them right now. They are suffering so bad and I wish I could do something to help them.

OMG...I am so sorry to hear about this. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. I know she's with your baby Katie now, and they'll be watching over you and your family.
