Keep them inside!!! Many of us will be experiencing dangerously cold temps this weekend/week... don't forget that it is dangerous for your pets, too!! Don't leave them out... and if you have outside pets... Bring THEM IN!!! Just minutes in the arctic type cold can be very serious to people AND their pets....... (and you might remind your neighbors, too!!) |
Great message. |

Stay safe and warm:snowflake: |
I can't help but feel terrible for the cat next door they NEVER let him inside ever and there are some dogs I see any time we go out on a few different roads that I don't think ever get to come inside. I think its so very wrong to have dogs and cats and never ever have them inside they are companion animals and need human interaction and to be with humans. |
I know what you mean - I'm now NOT in Houston anymore - and out here see it all the time - even rescued a dog tied to a tree and another was given to my roomates brother - NO one took care of these sad defeated dogs - the bassett hound was a NEW doggie once we got him away from there I guess country people where I am now never think to protect them and it is a big problem here:( |
Also remember to check their pads if they are outdoor pottyers and walkers. Cold cold weather get a thick layer of Vaseline on each pad - or use booties All Dog Boots sells them. She is a member here. Top up your grooming of between the pad pads - this way fewer iceballs will form in between the pads. |

Great post ! |
It is 0 degrees, with -25 wind chill factor here, and little Cali still had to run out there quickly and let those squirrels know she was still watching 👀 |
