Happy 2nd Birthday, Luma!! 1 Attachment(s) My sweet Luma is 2 years old today. I'm so happy she came into our lives and can't imagine life without her. The moment she was ours changed everything. She really is our "shooting star", just like how we named her after a star. She has the brightest personality of any dog I've ever met. Luma loves as deeply as we love her. She wants to do right by every human she meets, and she wants to love on them. We didn't teach her to be so outgoing, she was just born that way. She's made me smile and laugh more times in these 2 years than I ever did before we had her. And when I cry she's suddenly there to lick my face until I'm laughing again. Luma went through a lot this year. From allergy flare ups to testing, waiting, medicine, food trials, and going from an only child to an amazing big sister, she never lost her shining spirit. She is so full of life and nothing can dim that. Luma, I hope you had fun being 1, but now that you're 2 I plan to make each day even better.Now that you've patiently sat through obligatory birthday pictures, dress up, grooming, and mommy crying while typing this, I promise to set the phone down and bring you to the dog park. I love you more than anything in the world, my 2 year old!!! |
