help…which of these scissors should I get:
 
fromm curved ball point (6.5")
OR
master grooming 5200 curved (7.5)

(The first pair is shorter and has a ball tip)

Any other scissors I need? Thinning shears? I have a pair of curved infant nail scissors Ive been using to trim between her pads…would a clipper (Wahl peanut) work better/easier?

I tried both scissors and clippers for the pads. If your pup doesn't mind the clippers and you're comfortable using it for her pads then I say clippers! It's faster (which also makes it easier since they won't start fidgeting if it takes too long) and I think it does a better job vs scissors. However, I'd use scissors for the butt area.

I like the ball point scissor and I also think thinning shears wouldn't be a bad addition to have. I use it on Magnus (he has MUCH thicker coat) when I try to even out his face.

I've never used clippers before (other than one time to shave off my teenagers afro lol).

The smaller with the rounded tip is best and easier to use. I use a clipper on the pads of the feet and a thinning shears a bit on the mustache.

I've never used clippers before Magnus but.. not for his afro since he didn't have one. :D

I watched a lot of youtube clips on how to use a clipper and grooming. I also stared at the groomers when I visited petsmart. LOL It's not THAT hard but it does take a while to get the hang of things.

Are you planning on groomer her yourself from now on or is this for just in between her regular day at the groomers type of thing?

I'm not sure yet….it depends on her coat. She's still just a puppy so I'm doing it now, and hope to do when she's older. My past 2 yorkies had coats that never grew long so they were the easiest upkeep ever, but I saw Lilah's parents and they had long silky coats
