Best toothpaste brand?
 
I have been using a natural enzymatic toothpaste from petco brand but.. It smells? Is dog toothpaste suppose to smell bad? She likes it but I feel like toothpaste shouldn't smell like that. What are some good brands? I saw a brand called natural kissable vanilla flavored toothpaste.. Anyone use that one? Thank you!

We use vet recomended C.E.T Vanilla Mint & sometimes coconut oil.

It does.:D Not too minty or vanilla-y & they seem to like the taste.

I agree, I like the vanilla mint the best for my own sake! It's not overly minty or anything but it makes his breath smell nice afterward.

He prob liked the beef flavor best tho.

We like CET over here.

We use chicken CET. I want to try the vanilla mint, but I don't know how it will go over with the boys. They will probably rub their faces, lol.

Thank you! I'm going to try the C.E.T one because the one I bought just stinks! I wouldn't like to brush my own teeth with such a stinky toothpaste so I don't want to brush my puppy's teeth with it either lol.

I just purchased the CET vanilla mint toothpaste. Does it need to be rinsed or my puppy can swallow it? If it needs to be rinsed, how do I get the puppy to rinse?

My pup loves the Arm & Hammer brand one for pups. But it doesn't give him a minty smell... it sort of smells like burned coffee grinds when I brush him. :confused:

Deuce loves the CET Chicken one - All I have to do is get his tongue under control.

I get mine at my vet. Be sure to get a soft little toothbrush. The bigger ones are hard to get in the little mouth.

Hahaha! Momo gets all drooly:dribble: he likes the vanilla-mint, actually lets me brush his teeth...it only lasts 5 secs tho.
