Rabies tags Just curious on how many of y'all actually keep your dogs rabies tag on them? Neither Ellie or Lilly Anne wear harnesses or collars inside, but they do have their name tags on their buddy belts for when we go out. I usually keep their rabies tags in a folder that I have with all of their info but have never thought to put it on them with their other tags until a lady I know asked why mine didn't wear their rabies tags. I personally don't like how big they are but thats just me! |
I have a Rubit tag holder to attach to his BB harness when he goes out. He doesn't west anything in the house. |
I have heard so many horror stores of dogs getting out with out a collar and tags on so mine ALWAYS has hers on and even gets antsy when its off for baths. I am so careful to make sure it is 3/15" wide so its not to wide and very comfy. I also make sure if she got stuck on something it is loose enough she can slide her head out. So I keep her rabies and and an id tag on her collar all the time. I like the jingle noise it makes because I know where she is and what she is doing. Plus dogs have to have there rabies shots to go to the pet expos and pet event I take her too so this way they know she has hers. |
All three of mine wear collars with bells and their name tags (small collar type). I need the jingle bells to know where they are! lol I've put their rabies tags on their harnesses. They are never let outside without collars. If anything were to happen and they got out (even bolting out an open door for a squirrel sighting..lol), I know each has contact info....just in case they are too scared to tell a stranger who they are and where they live! |
Both of mine wear collars with an ID tag, inside and outside. They don't wear their rabies tag as I think it's too big. I usually keep a copy of their vaccination record in the car and if we go on a trip, I pack the rabies tags in their bag. |
