Wow , we really got it good ..
Ice storm started Sunday the 22 nd , Monday morning we lost power and did not get it back till late afternoon Christmas Day..
Pics of ice covered yard.
Poor pups could not even walk outside as it was like a skating rink ..
We got 3/4 inch coating of Ice..
It was freezing outside but thankfully we have the woodstove. We all stayed in the living room to keep warm , 3rd pics..
Our driveway was almost covered with downed trees as you will see in the last pics.
It sure was nice to get power back.. :)

Glad your power is back. That gives me flashbacks to hurricane sandy. Thank heavens we had a fireplace and a battery operated radio to entertain my husband. We had power in the shelter where I worked so it was warm and dry there. The poor pups didn't know what was happening.

We had the same problem a few weeks ago. We lost power as well. Ice storms are not fun. And it leaves so much damage . Trees down all over our yard. So glad you have power back. I fell for y'all having to deal with this!

That makes me shiver just looking at it. I'm glad your power is back on. Ice storms are scary. Be careful walking on that stuff. I know, poor puppies having to go out in that.

Ice is the worst ! Being without power is paralyzingly and being cold is miserable. So glad you got your power back on and are warm. Hope this weather improves - you folks in the north east have gotten slammed this year:eek:
