Michigan Storm Thinking about any Michigan folks and pups who may be without electricity  Not a fun thing for Christmas. |
Oh my that's terrible. Hope everyone is safe. |
It isn't good.:( Thankfully we didn't lose power. Sister did. Her family is snuggly warm with other family though.:) Power is still not restored. In fact, a transformer blow by her house after the power came back on for three seconds. Caught on fire. Power went out again. No idea how all of our seniors here are doing.:( |
i feel for them. I hope power is restored quickly to all affected areas. |
I so feel for you folks. Praying things are restored soon, if not head my way - got room and electricity ! ( and fenced yard for the pups). |
The poor people in Michigan, I was suppose to spend the holidays with my family but we cancelled our trip on Monday morning due to the ice and power being out. Everyone I know has their power back now thank goodness but they have a rough 48 hours or more waiting. |
hope everyone is warm and safe |
We also had the ice storm. My brother in law lost power and with the effort of helping my husband get the generator running for him on Christmas day he suffered a stroke. He is 53 years old, way to young. He is in the hospital and they say he may be able to come home in 3-4 days. Spent all day Christmas praying for him. He seems to be so much better, he still cannot read but they say that will come once the swelling goes down. What a storm! |
Oh no! These storms are awful. When I used to work in the ER all the heart attacks came in when people were shoveling all the snow. We could just plan on it. Hope it is not serious and he gets better fast. |

Generators can cause accidents though and are loud, in the summer if we loose power the noise is really noticeable. |
