Left my doggies out of ex pen alone at home
:o Today we had our Christmas Day with my in laws. I've always put my doggies in a ex pen when we went somewhere for long periods of time. They are only 9 months old and 4 months old. Well, they have been doing excellent with pottying on their puppy pads so we decided we would let them stay out and just keep them in the living room where they are during the day anyway. Well, we were gone for about 7 hours. We came home and I was NERVOUS. :) I searched the entire living room for pee accidents and I found 1 accident on the carpet by the potty pad. I consider this to be a really big plus for such young dogs. I was SOOOO happy with them. :) I was seriously expecting the carpet to be covered with accidents just because they could and we left them out alone. I guess I can trust them more than what I thought. And this was a good test because we will have to do it again for the next 2 days. :) |
