I bath the girls in the tub...Magic is not the big of fan of a bath but Sailor loves them and likes to play in the water!! I have never really thought of putting them in the shower with me....

I give Prince a bath in the tub. I have never thought of giving him a shower. Might have to try it next time though.

I use a huge bowl/pail and fill it with water in the bath tub. He hates it.

How often do you bath your yorkie and what shampoo do you use? I use the magic coat puppy shampoo.

lol, Good. I was afriad to admit that thinking I was the only wacko that took showers with my pup. Nice to know there's a couple others that do that as well!

I just think it's easier. When I bathe her in the sink she tries to jump out and then I have to grab her and I (along with whatever I'm wearing and half the kitchen) gets soaked. At least in the shower it doesn't matter how much she shakes or how much soap gets flung around 'cuz well.... we're in the shower!

Layla HATES getting a bath. The first time I just put her in the bathtub and used a cloth to get her soaked, and she tried to get out and clung to my arm like she was gonna drown! Then I got a spray thing and put her in the sink and she did the same thing! It's so hard to only have one hand to wash her with! Especially when she had such a greasy head from her ear medication. I still don't think I've gotten all the grease out! She also hates the blowdryer. I try to at least get her head and neck dry and then she runs around and rubs herself on towels and the carpet

I give my little girl a bath in the tub, she used to get a bath in the bathroom sink but I have found it soo much easier to give it in the tub now, and I don't get all wet either haha. she hates to have the water on so I can only imagine how much she would HATE the shower lol :p

Haha ok i have to add my little story that kinda goes with yours. I'm a college student so I live in a house shared with other students so my two Yorkies stay in my bedroom when I shower/baith. Anyways I went home with my furkids for Christmas and let them have run of my parents house (even though they never leave my side). Anyways i was home alone and having a bath, so i left the door open so Ruby and Bella would know where i was. My parents have a huge jacuzzi tub that has stairs up to it and Ruby decided to come and sit on the side of the tub and keep me company. Well it came time to wash my hair so i went under the water completely to get my hair wet. Well Ruby FREAKED out and ended up jumping into the tub with me (scaring the crap outta me because i was under water):eek:. Well i just ended up washing her while she was in there (and then I got out and had a shower). :rolleyes:

I never thought of giving Princess a shower.
How do you keep the water out of their ears?
Hmmmm, not sure if Princess would like it or not.
But if I could keep the water out of her ears,
I might give it a try. :)

same here. Moose goes in the shower with me. she loves it stands right next to me I wash my hair and then her's. I have told a couple of people and they look at me and saw when your in the shower too, I say yeah what's she gonna do take pictures of me or tell people what I look like naked :D or give me germs please I sleep with her and share treats sometimes.

Lil Bear is totally different, I've taken her into the shower with me and I end up scratched beyond recognition. Draw a bath for her she panics, wash her in the tub with the spray attachment...shes crawling up my arms. So she is usually bathed in the kitchen sink with the spray nozzle, easy on my back better control and I just plan on having the sink me and lil bear dripping wet by the end.

Me too. I guess I just started giving her showers cause we always gave our golden retriever showers- we have the spray nozzle on the long hose that comes off- it just seems easier- everybody is wet all together.

Think about it!!! We do worse things in our sinks than wash our Yorkies.

I take Gus a bath in the kitchen sink. The one time I took him in the shower he was like 5 months and he scratched my chest all up trying to get out. He hated it!!! I never tried it again.
