Oh how awful this makes me sick about these puppy mills. We were in Red Bay,Alabama for awhile and took a ride to Fulton,Mississippi. We needed to get groceries at the Walmart there and here these weird dirty filthy people had some puppies for sale. The little yorkie puppy was only six weeks old.I made my husband drive up to their vehicle to see what was in the crates and cages. They had Pom puppies,a Maltese puppy and a yorkie puppy. There were others too and the yorkie looked sick.I chewed them out about selling puppies too young and then I went in Walmart to let them know but the worker told me they were on the edge of the Walmart parking lot.I told them about puppy mills and this needed attention right now.I wonder if these idiots were from Huntsville selling their pups in Ms.Anyways I wished more people would be more aware of this stuff. Also we should not shop at Petland they buy puppies from puppy mills.Well I better stop venting it makes me sick about these puppy mills. We are aware of this situation but just do not have any foster homes in that area that could help. We have forwarded to other groups; but I am sure those we contacted already are aware. Just so disgusting. :( As to the comment about the lady being in over her head, I am so sick of ACs making such statements. We took yorkies in from a very similar situation in 2007 and they said the exact same thing. The pups were a mess. The links are still up....just read what they said about how much the lady loved her pups. :( My Olivia and Adina came from that mess. 237 dogs removed from home of Corpus Christi woman | abc13.com |
I would like to look into being a foster, but I don't know who to talk to in Alabama. I need to research this weekend. |
